AMY & JOSH’S SUMMER BARN WEDDING

Amy and Josh’s wedding at Pengelly Barn was such a great day to be part of. Relaxed, full of there nearest and dearest who clearly mean a lot to them, and set across some brilliant locations!!

The morning started at Pengelly with Amy getting ready in the Glam Room alongside her bridesmaids, flower girls and close family. There was plenty happening but it all felt easy. Dresses hanging up, hair and makeup finishing, and a really nice atmosphere as everything came together. Amy looked incredible and was clearly very ready to get married!

Josh and the groomsmen were getting ready nearby, which made things simple and kept the morning flowing well. Lots of laughter, personalised details, and a good group of people to photograph. It all felt very natural and very them.

The ceremony took place at St Mewan Church and it was a lovely one. Family and friends filled the space and the mood was upbeat from the start. One of the standout moments had to be Rocco the sausage dog coming down the aisle with the rings. It got such a good reaction and set the tone perfectly!

As Amy and Josh left the church, they were met with a guard of honour from the Girl Guides, which was really special and you could tell meant a lot to Amy!!

After the ceremony, we headed to Charlestown for some photos by the harbour. Amy and Josh were brilliant together. Relaxed, smiling, and enjoying a bit of time away from the crowd. It’s always a great spot for photos and worked really well as part of their day.

Back at Pengelly Barn, guests were waiting with confettias Amy and Josh arrived, which made for such a nice welcome. The afternoon was spent with drinks, lawn games (some hilarious photos of the couple with their space hoippers!!) and just so much fun in the most amazing setting. There was a really good feel to the whole place and lots of happy faces.

The speeches were full of warmth and humour, with plenty of laughter around the room. It was clear how loved Amy and Josh are, and how much effort had gone into making the day feel personal.

Later on, we headed out around the grounds for some golden hour sunset photos together. A quiet wander, a bit of time to themselves, and a chance to slow things down before the evening got going. Those moments always feel important.

The evening celebrations finished things off perfectly. A great first dance, a busy dance floor, and lots of energy right through to the end.

Amy and Josh, what an incredible day honestly!! Thank you so much for having me along. I loved it! Pengelly Barn was the perfect setting and it was such a pleasure to photograph!!
