Lauren got ready just a few minutes from the venue, which made the morning feel really easy. There was no rushing around and no pressure on timings. Hair and makeup ticking along, a few quiet moments, and plenty of excitement building as the ceremony time got closer. Lauren looked absolutely stunning and was clearly so ready to get married.
This was my first time at Chypraze Wedding Barn and the ceremony spot at Chypraze was absolutel;y beautiful! Friends and family gathered in the barn and the atmosphere was so beautiful, relaxed and full of warmth. When Lauren walked in, Ben’s reaction said everything. Super emotional and massive smiles just such a real sense of happiness that shows clearly in the photos.
After the ceremony, everyone headed outside into the courtyard for drinks, canapés and lots of hugs. The sun was out, musicians playing, and the whole place had such a good feel to it. Guests were catching up, laughing, and properly enjoying being there.
We took family photos around the courtyard and near the pond before heading off with Lauren and Ben for some time together. Walking, chatting, and just enjoying being together, which always makes for the best photos.
The speeches were SO GOOD! So warm, heartfelt and full of laughter. As the sun dipped right down, we slipped out once more for a few final photos. That golden glow over the cliffs and the beach below was something special. We took a walk down to the beach. It’s a bit of a trek down, but ABSOLUTELY worth it. The light was insane!! So beautiful, soft and golden as the sun dropped lower over the sea. Lauren and Ben took their time, shoes off, walking along the sand together and taking it all in. These are some of my favourite photos from the day and a big reminder of why Chypraze is such a special place to get married.
Back at the barn, the day carried on exactly as it had started. Easy, happy, and full of good energy. and the evening settled into some seriously amazing dance floor action! A perfect way to finish the day.
