St John’s Hall, Penzance and St Michael’s Mount
St Michael’s Mount Wedding Photographer
Wow wow wow, where do I start?!
From the initial enquiry Dan was so lovely, professional and informative. He was so on board with our hope for a Cornwall elopement and beach photos and gave some great recommendations as we were not local.
Communication up to the day was great. All information was given really clearly and questions answered promptly. His pricing is super reasonable too!
Come to the day, Dan was so kind and bubbly and fit into our little group perfectly. It made the day flow so nicely. He listened to any requests we had and absolutely smashed them.
The photos themselves are absolutely stunning. Beyond what I could’ve imagined or hoped for and I think captured our day perfectly. We will treasure them forever.
Dan made the entire process so easy and stress free. I would recommend him in a heartbeat and if we were ever in the position to need a photographer in the area again he would be my first contact for sure!
Alexandra and Will chose to keep things simple and elope to Cornwall. It suited them and their day so perfectly.
They chose to get married at the beautiful St John’s Hall in Penzance with just two guests there to witness it. No elaborate plans, no long wait, just the two of them choosing to get married and celebrate their love. Exactly how it should be!
There was a buzz as we waited for Alexandra to arrive! Alex walked in holding her bouquet and beaming from ear to ear – it was so emotional and shows in the photos! It was one of those moments that doesn’t need much describing because it’s all there in the photographs. Quiet, genuine, and just lovely to watch.
The ceremony was very sweet, emotional and relaxed. Everyone in the room was completely present, and there was a nice ease to the way Alexandra and Will appeared so comfortable together Nothing felt rushed and nothing felt staged.
Afterwards we headed down to the coast to grab some photos. St Michael’s Mount is literally the perfect backdrop for weddings and the weather did not disappoint! Alexandra and Will walked along the beach together, taking their time., enjoying themselves. They are a dream to photograph as they just talked, laughed, and enjoyed a walk on the beach
They kicked off their shoes and took a paddle in the sea . Moments like this are why I love documenting weddings! It wasn’t planned and it didn’t need to be. Those moments are always some of my favourites because they say a lot without trying to. What stood out most was how comfortable Alexandra and Will were with each other. Easy company, lots of smiles, and a real sense of enjoying the day for what it was. It made photographing them feel very natural.
Elopements like this remind me why I love what I do. It’s not about speeches, big entrances, or packed schedules. It’s about two people choosing each other and enjoying the day that comes with that. Alexandra and Will’s wedding was exactly that. Calm, thoughtful, and genuinely lovely to photograph.
Thank you both SO MUCH for having me along. It was a pleasure to document your day!!
