8 Ceremony Photos of Miriam and George

January 5, 2025

I often find myself overlooking the opportunity to share photos from the actual wedding ceremonies I get to photograph. Irarely have time to post much as it is, so when I do, I tend to lean toward those romantic, styled couple portraits that everyone loves. They are some of my favourites, but it’s so nice to share some more from the day.

But honestly, the ceremony itself is such a treasure trove of moments. It’s where the magic truly happens— raw, unfiltered emotions, the glances, the happy tears, and the way two people look at each other when they say, “I do.” Capturing those moments is such a privilege and, if I’m being honest, probably my favourite part of the entire day to photograph. There’s an intimacy and authenticity to those moments that just hits differently.

Take Miriam and George’s wedding, for example. Their ceremony at the breathtaking church nestled in the grounds of @birtscourt was nothing short of magical. This venue is one of the most beautiful I’ve had the honor of working at, and their love filled the space with so much warmth. It’s these moments—quiet, genuine, and filled with meaning—that remind me why I adore what I do.
