Tunnels Beaches Wedding

Following on from my recent (unprecedented) run of actually updating this website with some of the 150+ weddings I’ve shot over the last few years, I’ve started digging through a few of my favourite weddings from last year which I am hoping to put up full galleries for, but also talk in more detail about a few of my favourite shots from the day. These frames are from my time as a Tunnels Beaches Wedding Photographer for Katy and Rik – who were absolutely bloody lovely on the day!!

I’ll imagine it’s not all that hard to wonder why I am so smitten with these images from their frankly quite incredible day at Tunnels Beaches. Rik and Katy were such dream clients that just knew how to relax and let me do my thing. They had previously stated that if it was at all possible to get some sunset shots then that was something they definitely wanted. I’d been watching the weather reports for the week before to see if we would be in with a chance and on the day, I don’t think I’ve ever been more focused on making sure I got them out at the right moment. Luckily, and I think you will agree with me on this one, we managed it!!

R+K were super chilled and wanted 2 minutes alone to just chill, so they took some wine and went for a walk along the beach (whilst I stealthily papped them as they enjoyed some time alone!). If you’ve never been to Tunnels beaches before, it’s got this epic Tidal pool which is basically famous in its own rights. I knew I wanted to incorporate this and their reflections into the image to fully show off the insane sunset. Think we pulled it off! Sunset shots brief; all ticked off!!

I love shooting at Tunnels beaches and I am extremely lucky that they call me a recommended supplier (have a look on their website!). If you are getting married there yourself and fancy creating some magic – drop me an email! I’d love to chat!
