“Dan was extremely friendly and an unobtrusive photographer. He has a really good eye for capturing people’s personalities and emotions. He caught some lovely photos of my grandparents arriving at the church and later of them sitting and holding hands at the reception.
He was very flexible and enjoyed our ideas such as going off for a photo-shoot in a field, which turned out to be full of maize taller than us! He didn’t complain about the rain or the mud and the photos turned out amazing!”
Sophie and Charles chose to get married surrounded by just their nearest and dearest in fabulous Devon wedding photography. Their intimate wedding was one of the sweetest and I feel honoured to belucky enough to have been asked to photograph their day last wedding season.
We found our way into taking some photos in a gorgeous maize field just up the road from the gorgeous church where Sophie and Charles got married in the beautiful town of Abbotskerswell. I have to confess, i’d not actually heard of the town before, despite travelling and shooting a ton of wedding in Devon before. Always lovely to discover something new and with it being such a gorgeous place – what could be finer!
We got one of the most gorgeous sunsets of the year. We were taking a walk around gorgeous Abbotskerswell when the light hit in this gorgeous little lane on the way to the church. I grabbed a few frames of these two love birds having a moment alone. they turned out to be some of my favourite photos from this year!
