I’m a Bristol wedding photographer with the beautiful South West countryside as my stunning backdrop. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to capture weddings in such a breathtaking setting, and I never take it for granted. I love being a wedding photographer in Bristol and I make it my mission to tell your wedding story organically and without awkward posing.

My approach to wedding photography is all about telling the story of your day exactly as it unfolds: natural, relaxed, and authentic. Emotions are at the heart of every wedding, and that’s what I focus on capturing most. My goal is for you to look back at your wedding photos in 20+ years and instantly relive the emotions and memories of your special day, feeling like you’re right back there.

I don’t stage photos or create artificial moments because they don’t reflect the real essence of your day. My style is completely organic—just you, me, and the camera. No posing, just your genuine wedding story from beginning to end.

It’s a privilege to incorporate the stunning Bristol landscape into my work, and as a wedding photographer in Cornwall as well, I truly feel fortunate to do what I love.

Being a wedding photographer in Bristol means I’ve got the best of two worlds, that super cool city’s urban architecture and the gorgeous countryside just beyond. What’s great is there are so many venues in the city center and just 20 mins beyond you are inthe country perfect! It really does give me the perfect backdrop to tell a story that’s both grounded in place and full of emotion. So i always feel very lucky when photographing in Bristol and I never take for granted that each wedding I shoot here, everyone offers something a little different!!

What I love most about weddings in general and not just my wedings in Bristol (and I know I harp on about it alot!!) but no matter where I am shooting, the priniciples are always the same for me. I just want to document the day and stay out of the way of the usual posing and pushy instructions. My approach is and always has been the same to every wedding, it’s all about capturing your day as it actually happens, without the fake moments. Lets make some memories that are gonna shine through in the photos for decades to come! It’s how I’ve photographed over 400+ weddings now and I wouldn’t have it any other way! So just be safe in the knowledge that your story is being told true to you and authentically and honestly how I’ve photographed for the last 15 years now! My goal is for you to look at the pictures and think, fuck yeah, that was exactly us!! (excuse my french!!)

Because I’m so lucky enough to shoot so many weddings around Bristol, Devon, Cornwall and the wider South region, I also know the rhythm of the day. when and where to go for the best light, which spots are gonna be best for some alone time with just the couple when things tend to slow down! I always say on the day, it’s always the small moments people forget to even plan on the day but they generally are the moments that turn into the lasting ones. So lets do this!
