Gower Wedding Photographer
Hi Dan!
Whilst I primarily photograph the most of my weddings in the south west, but generally as a wedding photographer Cornwall, every now and then I am incredibly lucky enough to be able to photograph weddings further afield. Alice and Rhys very kindly asked me come to the extremyl beautiful Wales to photograph their Gower Wedding. If you’ve never been to Gower before, or ever even heard of it, you are in for a massive treat. IT IS BEAUTIFUL! Such an incredible spot for a wedding as well.
Alice and Rhys chose a local – and extremely beautiful church close to their family home to get married in. I love small intimate church weddings, they have so much soul. The second Alice started walking down the aisle you could tell how much it meant to everyone in the room. Not a dry eye in the house. These are some of my favourite images from this wedding!
We had a good plan to take a short drive around to a few awesome spots local to the church in Gower, and close to Three Cliffs Bay. The sun gods were completely shining on us and we managed to get some of my absolutel favourite couple shots from this year. Alice and Rhys just wanted a bit of time out to celebrate being newly married – and walking along the most incredibly beautiful cliff top with your new husband / wife is absolutely the way to do it!!
A+R chose to have their reception with their nearest and dearest around them in a small DIY wedding at their family home. Something I absolutely think is such an amazing thing to do, small DIY weddings always have so much charecter and are honestly some of the funnest weddings in my experience.
One of the most amazing parts about A+R’s big day was as they had a slightly smaller intimate wedding they decided to splash out and have Bart van der Lee come and cook for them. Honestly some of the most incredible food I think I have ever had. I was super lucky enough that Bart gave me a few plates and it was honestly insanely good!!
Now I will continue to big it up, but being a Gower wedding photographer was honestly insane. In the evening we managed to take a walk onto the golf course just infront of their reception and we were treated to one of the most insane sunsets I think I have ever seen! Completely epic and honestly just the most perfect way to end the day!!
