Here are 10 frames of absolute wedding goodness! I’ve just blogged this full wedding of Lucy and James at their Fowey wedding with me as a Fowey Harbour Hotel Wedding Photographer, but I wanted to just select 10 of my favourites to chat about!
I absolutely loved this wedding. It was so super cute and intimate and everyone was just in such good spirits, it was a real pleasure to be asked to photograph. So to choose just 10 favourites from a wedding like this is so super hard. So I just chose 10 at random, which I think is such a good thing to do when picking from a wedding as it’s just pure random and isn’t typically the ‘hero’ shots and are representative of the day as a whole.
There was such common theme throughout the day and that was that James and Lucy just wanted a nice relaxed day with their friends and family and that was at the forefront. They didn’t want stress, drama or too much fuss. That’s exactly what they got. It was so nice to photograph such a laid back day. It makes me approach photography so differently as rather than rushing around to get shots and make sure I’m not missing the action going on, I get chance to work more for the shots, watch all the interactions with people and the change of pace is so much fun! I wanted the shots I was taking to show just how relaxed the day was – James and his bestman making the flower arch on the morning of the wedding. Everyone watching the getting ready prep. Lucy taking 2 minutes just to catch the view before walking down the aisle. It was all so magical and I wanted the photos to reflect that!
